Edit This
There are a number of favorite Australia and Pacific Beaches tourists will flock to when vacationing. They can be found in Australia, Hawaii, along the Pacific Coast Highway, on the Western coast of Mexico and in the South Pacific. Listed are some of the best rated beaches according to their beauty, available activities and locations that are easily accessible.

Hawaiian Beaches

Majority of the beaches in Hawaii are perfect for swimming, surfing, snorkeling and scuba diving. Some of the more popular beaches located on the island of Oahu are North Shore, Hanauma Bay, Kailua Beach and Waimea Bay. There are also favorites on the island of Maui including Lanikai Beach, Wailea Beach, Kapalua Beach, Hamoa Beach and Kaanapali Beach. The busiest time of year is December to February because this is typically winter time elsewhere. June to October are the hottest months but with the clean soothing waters surrounding the island, it's easy to stay cool.

Australian Beaches

The beaches of Australia draw tourists every year for many reasons including its supreme surf, scenic stretches of coastal land, and also the fishing. Visit the beautiful Whitesundays Beach at Queensland and see the Great Barrier Reef, travel to Sydney which has Bells Beach and Bondi Beach, or Victoria with its Ninety Mile Beach to go whale watching, swim, snorkel, parasail, body board, surf, scuba dive, and fish or just relax and sunbathe.

Mexican Beaches

The Pacific coast of Mexico has several exotic beaches offering luxurious resorts as well as more secluded villas and hacienda-like accommodations. No matter where you choose to go along the coast, you'll find miles of white sandy beaches and gorgeous turquoise waters. Choose beaches from any of these cities in Mexico and you won't be disappointed: Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas, Acapulco or Bahia Concepcion.

South Pacific Beaches

When you think of the South Pacific, most will assume its all tropical islands and beautiful weather. And for the most part, that is true. They also have some of the loveliest beaches in the world. From the French Polynesian islands of Tahiti and Bora Bora, to other islands like Fiji, Samoa, Tonga or the Cook Islands. Each location is an adventure unto itself and if you can visit each and every one of them someday, you most certainly should. The majority of the islands in the South Pacific are English speaking, and if you book far enough in advance, you can get reasonable travel deals.

Papua New Guinea (especially West New Britain and East New Britain) has first rate scuba and snorkelling (and tons of malaria).
