This pearl of Western Australia is a not much travelled place. It's only well known by backpackers and WA locals. (Whatever you can call local in WA, a state that's bigger than western Europe)
This little town has the best access to the Ningaloo Reef, it's two swimming strokes off the beach, and has the best diving sites around.
Coral Bay is also popular for the Whaleshark migration that takes place twice a year. Then you can snorkle with these gentle giants and discover how beautiful these mammals are.
So Coral Bay is the best place to have a relaxing beach holiday where you also have the opportunity to get involved in some watersports.
And I must honestly say that I've seen almost whole the Australian Coast and this is the best and most relaxing place I've visited. A real hidden gem.
