Yackandandah, or just Yack if you're an old hand, is an historic town located close to some of Victoria's best ski resorts, and are from one hour to two and a half hours away. Yack is an old gold mining town and in main street you can see quite a few buildings that date back from the heydays.
Yackandandah is recongnised as the gateway to the North East Victoria most "Idyllic Town", and can deliver a true historic experience, in adition to unique landscapes, visually magnetic, appealing to the eye of all.

If you're visiting Victoria from the north through the Hume Highway, leave the highway at the border town of Wodonga and head south towards Myrtleford. If taking the Great Alpine Road from Melbourne through Bairnsdale, head north at Myrtleford to Yackandandah. Come and experience a piece of history!
