The Great South West Walk starts and ends at Portland and covers 250 km's of extremely diverse landscape travelling through native forest, spactacular towering cliffs, and along majestic coastline. The Great South West Walk is designed to either walk a section or enjoy the whole adventure. The fishing in Portland is one of the highlights which offers the opportunity to try your luck in the surf for Mulloway, Salmon or Snapper. There are full facilities to launch your boat at Portland. Bait is available and we may be able to offer you some local knowlegde if you require it.

Portland Powerhouse Car Museum with it's unique collection of lovingly restored veteran, vintage and classic cars, motorcycles, tractors, trams, and stationary engines.

Portland Cable Tram You can travel along Portlands historic foreshore and visit the Maritime Museum, Portland Powerhouse Car Museum, The Botanic Gardens and Portland's World War 2 Memorial Lookout using the Cable tram.
