The city of Adelaide has a lot of things to offer when it comes down to how to spend your day. There are several museums where you can easily spend several days and that highlight everything ranging from Australia’s childhood onwards to the railway systems. Scattered throughout town, you’ll find the most beautifully ornamented fountains and numerous statues, dedicated to important historical figures that set foot in Adelaide a long time ago (alright, although Alice found her wonderland elsewhere, she still got her own statue). Most memorials you’ll see are dedicated to commemorate those that fell during one of the wars. When you’re satiated, go to one of the gardens or the surrounding 700 hectares of Park Land where you can either have a picnic or just relax and revive your Adelaide impressions.
