Bundaberg Travel Guide
Edit This The best resource for sights, hotels, restaurants, bars, what to do and seeBundaberg seems to have pretty much two attractions:
1. Turtle Watching (Mon Repos near Bundaberg is one of the region's main turtle breeding grounds), which you can do every evening between November and March.
2. Bundaberg is home to Australia's most famous and popular rum. From 10am to 3pm the Bundaberg distillery runs tours through the distillery. Those tours cost about $5-$10, depending on the discounts you qualify for (students: $7), and include two tastings of Bundy rum. Enjoy.
Other than that, there isn't much to see, and during harvesting season it's well worth booking ahead if you really plan to spend a night here, as Bundaberg is one of the centers for overseas work-and-travel fruit pickers...
