Airlie Waterfront Backpackers are sitated 100m from the main street (Shute Harbour road) on the Esplanade you will be close to all the action but can still chose when to leave the noise and crowds behind and grab some rest.
All rooms benefit from air-conditioning and are clean and airy.
Two large, fully equipped kitchens mean that you can prepare a meal and eat in comfort on those nights when you don’t want to eat out.
The beach is directly opposite the hostel and free BBQs are available at the beach and around the lagoon, which is 200m through more..

Backpacker's by the Bay
Edit This Most people only stay here for a night or two, but I here for nearly a week ....I wish I stayed longer. You
will appreciate not being right in the bustle of the centre of town,
the people staying here are laid back and it's only a 4 minute walk
to the action on the strip.
2 of my roomates so far have actually
stayed at Magnum's and moved to BBTB because Magnum's was so crap. Security
is ok however someone snapped the chain on the back door to our room,
but my laptop didn't go missing and neither did another guys ipod so it
was ok. Everything is pretty clean and more..
