DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME  summer time
New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania, and the Australian Capital Territory observe daylight saving (summer time) from the first Sunday of October to  the first Sunday of April. Western Australia sticks with the original schedule observing daylight saving from the last Sunday of October to the last Sunday of March. Queensland and the Northern Territory do not observe the practice of daylight saving.
