Mimosa, 88 Bui Vien, District !
Edit This Mimosa is a locally run restaurant, very clean, with an excellent chef. I tried many dishes of different ethnicities and all were well prepared, Western and Asian.
The prices range from 18k Dong, ( less than $1 ) to about 100K Dong, $5.00 for meals
A bottle of Da Lat Wine is $3,5.
A breakfast omelet, 2-3 eggs with stir fired vegetables folded and French Baguette is 24k dong. $1.20, very good.
You can use your Visa Card, No Minimum purchase when I was there, August 2010.

Hoi An
Edit ThisRun by the same folks who bring you Mandarin just around the corner , Hoi An serves a similar compliment of fine, authentic Vietnamese; here the focus is on central Vietnam's light fare. On busy Le Thanh Ton Street just north of the town center, the building is a nice re-creation of a traditional Vietnamese home, and the upstairs dining room is an interesting faux-rustic blend of wood and bamboo. Presentation here is unique, like the hollowed coconut that was used to serve a fine crab and asparagus, and everything is good. Try the drunken shrimp, large prawns soaked in rice more..

Temple Club
Edit Thishis high-end restaurant, attached to an equally elegant bar and lounge, is a must-see place for its art deco furniture (all of which are for sale) as much as for its scrumptious food (its appetiser platter is a must-try). A good place to impress out-of-town business colleagues or clients.

Pho Ngheu Huong Thanh Eatery
Edit ThisTried Pho 24 or Pho 2000 in Saigon. Want to try something unconventional. Pho with clams. I was wondering with some friends along the street near the ben thanh market and bump into this eatery called Pho Ngheu Huong Thanh. Wow, pho with clams. Never heard of it before. Tried the spicy soup with clams and yes, yes. It taste really good and we like the clams fried with lemon grass and chili and its not hot at all and goes so well with bread. Drank their signature beverage called this Green Ocean and man, it was refreshing.

Pho 24
Edit Thistakes the country's beloved beef or chicken noodle soup (pho), with its cinnamon-and-anise-scented broth, to new heights. Bowls are served in a colonial-style room, with wrought-iron detailing and paper lanterns.
