Exclusive Private Cruise On The Mekong 3 Days
DAY 1: CAI BE - PHU AN - DONG HOA HIEP - VINH LONG - SA DEC
(Overnight on board “Song Xanh” sampan)
The excursion starts from Cai Be town pier at around 10.30 am. Upon embarkation on your sampan you will be welcomed by your crew.
After your installation the cruise will begin with the visit of Cai Be floating market, cruising among local barges full of fruits and vegetables.
We will proceed to Phu An hamlet, an untouched beautiful area reflecting some of the Mekong delta best sights.
On the way, stop will be made at some local home factories to observe how rice paste, coconut candies and other regional specialties are made.
A delicious lunch will await you at "Le Longanier" restaurant, a superb Indochinese house located by the river, in a lush tropical garden surrounded by fruit plantations.
After lunch, your sampan will cruise deeper into the country side along smaller rivers and canals. Visits on the river banks will allow you to discover some fruit markets and plantations such as bananas, water melon, coconuts, longans, as well as an ancient mandarin house dating from 1890 where you will we welcomed by the owner. Occasion will be given to establish friendly contacts with the local population.
Your sampan will proceed to Vinh Long cruising Dong Phu canal and An Binh islet famous for its fruit orchards. These evergreen islands among the Mekong River bring about large networks of meandering rivers, criss-crossed with countless arroyos, and remaining unknown to many people.
Crossing the large Co Chien River we will pass under the spectacular My Thuan Bridge.
We will proceed the cruise up-stream. On the banks some dark smokes will lead us to one of the biggest artisanal bricks and tiles factory where we will you have an interesting visit.
Back on board, we will proceed to Sa Dec. The town appears like a little “Venice” with numerous narrow canals…
While you will have a tour in town, your dinner will be prepared on board.
Your sampan will moor for night in a quiet area.

DAY 2: SADEC – LONG XUYEN – ONG HO ISLAND

Mekong Eyes Cruise 2 Days Saigon - Caibe – Cantho – Saigon / Chaudoc (Departure every Even days)
Day 1: HCMC- drive to Caibe – Panorama cruise
- 9.00AM: Pick-up at hotel & transfer to Cai Be (120km / 2.5hrs).
- Board the Mekong Eyes at 12:30.
- Enjoy a welcome drink and get comfortable in your cabin with a great view through the panoramic windows.
- As lunch is served the Mekong Eyes starts cruising towards Cho Lach on the Tien Giang River. Watch the flow of daily life on the Mekong, the traffic of sand and rice barges, the scenery of fruit –drying facilities and wooden ship-building yards. The boat heads to Cai Nhum, a little town on the banks of the river Mang Thit.
- Disembark for a pleasant walk to experience the way of life and hospitality of the locals. Discover tropical fruit orchard and rice fields nearby.
- Back on board. Enjoy a drink at the bar or take a rest on the deck watching the sun set over the magnificent scenery.
- We continue to Tra On where the boat will anchor for the night.
- The day ends with a delicious on-board dinner.

Day 2: Sunrise Cruise to Cai Rang floating market – Cantho – Saigon (or Chaudoc)

My Tho & Ben Tre Leisure Biking 1 Day 08 00 AM, Drive to Mytho. Upon arrival, we cross RachMieu ferry and start cycling back country road, feeling lost on winding road under the green coconut canopy. The coconut palms that make BenTre famous in Vietnam.
Arrive in BenTre at noon time, we cruise down the busy branches of Mekong and into a peaceful canal. Visit an island orchard, lunch break with traditional meal, see the daily life of farmers and try exotic seasonal fruits unique to the region.
Enjoy a rowing boat ride along the small canals. Then we cycle to explore this quiet area, call on coconut-candy workshop and other handicraft workshop (if time permitting) before coming back to our van to drive back Saigon.
