Overview

Explore this beautiful natural Lake located in Ba Be National Park, where there is dramatic landscape and authentic culture, it is only 280 km from Hanoi. After careful review, Viet Vision Travel would like to offer a 2 day trip to Ba Be Lake for those who love exploring nature combined with local culture with a schedule that does not rush you. Within 2 days you will be able to enjoy sightseeing to beautiful ethnic villages in the region around the national park; this will be via an easy bike ride from the local village where you are having your home stay. There will also be a tranquil boat trip on Ba Be Lake and the River Nang to view romantic and imposing landscape.

DAY 1 : HANOI- BA BE LAKE (B,D)
Our trip should depart Hanoi at 7.30 AM, heading straight to center north of Vietnam. After about 2 hour drive, we will have coffee-break at Cho Lu (Lu Market), then start to enter the mountainous region where beautiful dramatic natural landscape alternates with ethnic villages located at the foot of the mountains. The drive will be slow-paced and peaceful, we will have a chance to stop to take photos, enjoy the views...Upon arrival, we enjoy the well-established home-stay in Pac Ngoi, with the Tay people. Around 1 PM, we will spend a couple of hours to enjoy slow biking along village lanes to explore neighborhoods. Overnight at the hotel in Ba Be.

 

DAY 2 : BA BE LAKE – HANOI (B,L)
After breakfast, we will stow our bags in the vehicle; then go to a small wharf in Pac Ngoi to enjoy a cruise on Ba Be Lake & Nang River. Our boat will anchor for a short visit Dau Dang waterfall and then cruising up stream for a couple of hours along the Nang River till around 11.30 AM. We will go ashore for lunch in Cho Gia, before heading back to Hanoi. Our trip ends around 6 PM in Hanoi.
