Bienhoa Town in Dong Nai province is great for the tourist on the go. Anyone who was here during the Vietnam War may not recognize the city, as it has grown and prospered tremendously since that time.

Dong Nai River

Take a boat cruise along the Dong Nai River. The Tri An Water Fall is only about 50 kilometers from Bienhoa Town. The falls is a magnificent 8 meters in height and 30 meters wide. There are several islets and large boulders around the bed of the fall.

Long An Lake

You must see Long an Lake which is 6 kilometers from Benhoa Town. The lake is surrounded by boulders as big as a house or larger and it makes it look more like a bay. The waters are calm and you can go swimming or take a picnic to eat by the water.

Buu Long Mountain

Buu Long Mountain and Pagoda are about seven kilometers away. Get ready to hike because to reach the mountain top you have to climb 99 slabs of stone. At the top is a pagoda that was built in 1679 and contains statues and carvings.

Fruit Orchard

Approximately 25 kilometers from Bienhooa Town to a fertile village called Pomelo Tan Trieu, you'll find an orchard that grows several different kinds of luscious fruit. The people are friendly here and you will be given many samples of fruits of their orchards. You won’t be able to resist them.

Cat Then National Park

Close to Bienhoa Town is Cat Then National Park where you can see elephants and endangered animals in a very dense forest. It is very humid here because of the canopies the trees provide. There is a 400 year old conifer tree and a Bang Lang tree that is nearly 300 years old and is absolutely huge.

Bienhoa Air Base

Tourists love to check out the Air Base in Bienhoa Town that was used by the United States from 1961 to 1973. Many United States soldiers were stationed here during the Vietnam War. 

There is an opportunity for shopping in Bienhoa Town where you can find everything from fancy western clothing to small shops selling local wares. There are several large comfortable hotels in the city as well where you can rest your feet after seeing all the attractions the region has to offer.
