Patong is Phuket’s most developed tourist paradise with long white sandy beaches facing the blue Andaman sea and plenty of restaurants, shops and hotels. Many hotels offer all sorts of daytrips and day activities, such as parasailing and scuba diving. The nightlife has something to offer for everyone, ranging from cabaret, discos and bars to films in local restaurants.

Bang La road is great for anyone who likes the nightlife. There are heaps of different places to drink, from crowded Irish pubs to quiet little bars with Thai television shows on. It's also a good street to laugh on, with pubs that have names like 'The Dog's Bollocks'.
