Nai Harn beach

Situated at the southern tip of Phuket island, Nai Harn beach, is in my opinion the best family beach in Phuket. Its big enough and not to crowded to make frisbee and other beach games an option, the water is shallow making it safer for children and weaker swimmers and the shape of the bay shelters it from the prevailing winds and waves. There are plent of restaurants along the tree line at the back of the beach, so enjoying a snack or meal in the shade is an option, and the prices are lower than other areas as well. There isn't much accomodation nearby, so you may need a car or motorcycle to get there, but there are parking spots. Popular with the local Thai's, specially an hour or so before dusk when its cooler, its always worth a visit.
