Nai Harn beach
Edit ThisSituated at the southern tip of Phuket island, Nai Harn beach, is in my opinion the best family beach in Phuket. Its big enough and not to crowded to make frisbee and other beach games an option, the water is shallow making it safer for children and weaker swimmers and the shape of the bay shelters it from the prevailing winds and waves. There are plent of restaurants along the tree line at the back of the beach, so enjoying a snack or meal in the shade is an option, and the prices are lower than other areas as well. There isn't more..

While this beach isn't the best for swimming at, it has some of the best seafood on the island. It can be reached by tuk tuk from anywhere on the island.
Rawai Beach is set away from the touristy areas of Patong, on the southeast side of the island. There are many cheap seafood restaurants where you can eat Thai style on the beach.
All the seafood is caught fresh each day, which can be seen from the beach by the numerous fishing boats offshore.
There are also boats for parasailing, fishing, snorkelling more..
