Sights in Pattaya

Edit This

Pattaya is the hidden Kohinoor of Thailand. Phuket may attract most of the attention of visitors, but Pattaya possesses all the treasures of a great beach city, and many more. Pattaya Sights include a stunning white sandy beach, colorful corals, adventure sports avenues, and a wild nightlife. Some of the unique sights in Pattaya are listed below:

Ripley’s World of Entertainment

One of the must-see attractions in Pattaya is Ripley’s World of Entertainment. The Ripley vault showcases world’s chosen macabre, weird and ghoulish elements. The building of the museum itself offers an unusual sight. Located at Royal Garden Plaza, the museum has a fighter plane rammed into one side of its structure and the tail of the plane is protruding from another side of the building out into the street. The Museum has 10 discrete themed galleries, including 4-dimensional Motion Master Theatre, Ripley’s Haunted Adventure, and Ripley’s Infinity Maze. The Museum features over 300 real exhibits, 20,000 images and about 20,000 artifacts. It will take your entire day to cover every of the items displayed here.

Pattaya Elephant Village

Pattaya Elephant Village was inaugurated in 1973 as a safe haven for protecting sick and wounded elephants. Contributions made by tourists help this village thrive in its mission. The full-day programs offered here involve trekking, river rafting, ox-cart rides, waterfall viewing, educational tours about silk production by butterflies, Thai sword combat, Thai dancing and demonstration of controlling an elephant.

Nong Noch Tropical Garden

About 15 kilometers away from Pattaya, Nong Noch Tropical Garden is a beautiful garden spread across an area of 500 acres. Famed for its wide spectrum of orchid varieties and its palm garden, Nong Noch has the appearance of a raditional Thai village. Plenty of entertaining shows, including performances by elephants and traditional Thai dancers, sword fighting, and Thai kickboxing, will simply make your day here a memorable one.

Sriracha Tiger Zoo

Deemed to be the largest tiger zoo of the world, Sriracha Tiger Zoo takes pride in possessing the largest population of Bengal tigers. Aside from the tiger, the zoo nurtures a host of other animals including ostriches, crocodiles, kangaroos, and rare species of birds. A series of interesting shows, such as a young lady performing a dare feat with massive size scorpions all over her clothes, crocodile wrestling, pig racing, Kenya aerobics and circus acts, function as great crowd pleasers.

Mini Siam

Mini Siam is a beautiful simulation of a typical Thai village that showcases miniature replicas of the most celebrated historical sites and structures of the world, including the Eiffel tower of Paris, the London Bridge, the Statue of Liberty, the Democracy Monument of Bangkok, and the bridge of the River Kawai.

Sri Racha Tiger Zoo

Edit This

And on 1st May a teenage worker at the zoo died after being mauled by six tigers in front of more than 100 shocked tourists. "She passed away in hospital," a spokeswoman from the Sri Racha Tiger Zoo southeast of Bangkok said, declining to elaborate on the attack that more..
