Soppong River Inn

A nice inn in lush tropical gardens along the river in Soppong, about 60 km from Mae Hong Son city and 45 km from Pai. Each accommodation is unique and constructed of natural materials. Another attractive feature is the large, multi-level teak deck on the rocks over the river, creating the perfect place to read, birdwatch, or to just have some drinks and relax.

Also has internet and meals/drinks on the deck over the river. The Seven Elephants Cafe serves a variety of SE Asian and western dishes and also is open for breakfast with set menus including large western or Thai breakfasts. Tables are available inside or outside in the tropical gardens. Coffee and espresso drinks are available from the cafe's espresso machine, an unusual find for a remote village such as Soppong. Local specialty cocktails are featured, along with chilled alternative music, alternated with traditional northern Thai music.
