Blue Sapphire Golf & Resort
Edit ThisThis 7,000-yard, 18-hole golf course is located around a sapphire mine. The green fee for weekday visitors is 1000 Baht and 1500 Baht at weekends. The resort and course is somewhat isolated from town, but very nice. There are now 3 nine hole courses and a fourth is to be added. Blue Sapphire, which opened in 2002, is easily one of the most beautiful courses in Thailand. It is one of the top 10 courses and some consider it better than Blue Canyon! A real test, even for the most seasoned golf professionals. The course is an Australian design, by Mr. Steven Youdan.
