Wat Phra Singh

Wat Phra Singh officially known as Wat Lee Chiang Phra, It is the community center of the old city and is famous a temple being the original home of Jade Buddha which is now is housed in Bangkok. It however was orginally constructed in 1343 AD to enshrine the relics of Phaya Kham Fu, the sixth ruler of Chiang Mai. One may partake in many festivals and event throughout the year at this temple.
