The Spa is worth to pay a visit. Full Day tours aswell as Package Tours are available.  Nearby tourist attractions: Chiang Dao elephant training camp, Chiang Dao Caves, Waterfalls, etc. It's the ideal place for relaxation.

Aside from having great food and a large variety of enexpensive drinks, Mon and Kurt's Restaurant also has a nice big, teak room for rent in their house behind the restaurant. 

Expect clean linen, a comfortable bed and a hot shower in the morning.  The room is clean and has good locks, in case you want to use it for a safe base to explore the surounding area for a few days. 

The coffee is great and refills are free.

There are also internet access and 7 Baht per minute international calls more..
