Bang Saphan and the neighbouring beach areas including Baan Krut and the Island of Koh Talu are still a haven of peace and relaxation, but thetre are some very interesting sights to see in the area and ideal to get off the beaten track in Thailand and yet stay in an interesting area. Excellent highway and coastal rail line make beach hoping along the coast very easy.
