Melaka or Malacca is a great place to visit. It bears witness to six centuries of existence with a rich cultural heritage. The Dutch, Portuguese and English buildings and monuments reflect the former presence of these colonial powers. Malacca is also synonymous with Straits-born Chinese culture.
