Hinunangan is on the eastern seaboard of Southern Leyte facing the Pacific Ocean and contains the largest group of Barangays in all of the Pacific Towns. The town is famous for its gorgeous Hinunangan Bay and in particular Tahusan Beach probably the finest sandy beach in the whole island of Leyte. The town also includes the two white coral islands of St Peter and St Paul.
