Beaches in Olongapo City
Edit ThisSubic Bay
It may be well known for the ex-US naval base (now Subic Bay Freeport Zones) but Subic Bay has a wide stretch of beautiful white sand beaches along its shore. Popular beaches and resorts within the bay are White Rock Beach Resort, Camayan Beach Resort, Arizona International Hotel and Resort, and Johan’s Beach Resort. All these beach resorts are popular for their special activities.
Half Moon Beach
Half Moon Beach is located along the National Highway. It has number of bamboo cottages brilliantly located along the shore lines. The great thing about this is that you can enjoy this white side beach without spending much for entrance fees because it’s for free. This is a perfect place if you are looking for some good budget ideas in Olongapo City.
Dungaree Beach
Dungaree Beach is another popular beach in Olongapo City. The beach is a popular spot for group events and parties. The beach can accommodate 500 people and can cater to beach parties and retreats. They charge Php150/person for entrance fee. You do not have to worry if this is a good place to enjoy a retreat or party. The authorities make sure that the beach is clean so that guests can enjoy themselves here.
Driftwood Beach
If you are looking for a place to enjoy your holiday on the beach, Driftwood beach is a good option. Driftwood beach is popular with tourists and locals alike. The beach has several cottages for rent behind the seawalls. Driftwood Beach is located across the 164 PNP Camp along the National Highway.
All Hands Beach
All Hands Beach is also known as “everybody’s beach”. Earlier it was a popular get away for navy cadets. Today, the beach is open to all and can accommodate 1,500 people. There are also several colorful cottages by the shore. If you are looking for a place to enjoy a beach picnic, this is the right spot to be. You can also pack your own picnic basket or you can ask your hotel to prepare a nice picnic basket for you.
