Malapascua Island is the place where you can watch sharks. There are lots of beautiful churches which have historical value. Tourists must visit the fisher villages to experience the true Negros. You can get around by taxi which is cheap and efficient.

You need not to have visa to visit Negros Island. Visitors from most countries are allowed to stay here for up to 21 days without a visa. 

Safety Tips   Tourists should not show off to much luxury in front of poor people. There are some areas which should be avoided to visit at night especially when you are alone, for example Carbon Market area, which is avoided by most of the tourists.  Pickpocketing and robbery are also major problems for tourists in market areas. So it is advised to be cautious and vigilant to avoid such problems and to have a safe visit.
