They offer nice affordable prices and a wide array of Filipino foods and ostrich meat. They also have other international cuisines available. La Tegola is a fine Italian restaurant, which offers great wine selections and a quiet ambiance. Vienna Kaffehaus offers European foods.

Cagayan de Oro has a wide range of areas to lodge while you are visiting. There are two hostels, the MASS SPEC and the YMCA, which offers cheap lodging. Mid-range options that are more of the hotel variety are the Miami Inn, Philtown Hotel and others. These places are definitely acceptable, and compare to two to three star hotels in the United States.
