Beaches in Cagayan de Oro
Edit This
It would be a crime to leave Cagayan de Oro without visiting Camiguin Island. The crossing takes a mere 30 minutes in a ferry from Balingoan, a 2 hour drive from Cagayan. Some of the best snorklling beaches are located around Camiguin and there are many other sandy beaches where a family can relax in safety and peace, far from the pollution of traffic. There are both cold and hot springs to swim in, a sunken graveyard and active volcanoes to visit. There is also some excellent accommodation adjacent to several of the best family friendly beaches. All in all, Camiguin Island is something not to be missed.
