When to Go in Las Pinas City
Edit ThisThe tropical climate of the Philippines can be a
bit overwhelming to some visitors, so it is best when planning a trip
to Las Pinas that you think about when to go long before you book
your tickets. With wet-dry seasons that have been known to overlap with
one another, even with a lot of planning, you can still end up with
rain during the dry time, so it is best if you are open to the
possibilities and able to adjust your schedule accordingly.
Weather in Las Pinas
The months of March to May are generally dry, while June through to
November are typically extremely wet with typhoons along the coast on
their way to more northern countries. December through to May is
normally dry, but during the summer months of March through May, the
humidity and density of the air can be a bit overwhelming with average
temperatures reaching 95 degrees on many days.
If the heat does not agree with you, it is best to visit during the
cooler months before March. If you do not mind the heat, then you can
select from any time in the dry season. Traveling during the dry season
will ensure that you will get to tour all the sites that you traveled to
Las Pinas to see.
Annual Traditions in Las Pinas
Another great time to visit Las Pinas is during a holiday time. Many of
the most significant annual holidays here take place in the dry season,
so visitors should have no problem reaching the festivities. Christmas
is a big holiday in the Catholic country and residents enjoy decorating
and celebrating for long periods of time, so it should come as little
surprise to see Christmas decorations springing up around September. The
Christmas season in Las Pinas and the entire country lasts until
mid-January when Filipinos observe the flight of the Holy Family to
Egypt.
Look for other fiestas happening in Las Pinas around the time of your
trip as well to really experience the festive spirit of Filipinos.
Flores de Mayo is a popular celebration that marks a great time to visit
the country. Observed near the end of May, the festivities include
women parading in amazing gowns to honor the Virgin Mary.
Whenever you visit Las Pinas, be prepared for the beautiful
tropical climate and to experience all the great attractions that the
city has to offer.
