7 Day Itinerary in Las Pinas City
Edit ThisDay 1 - The Bamboo Organ
Visit the world renowned Bamboo Organ at the parish of St. Joseph in Las Piñas City. This city was highly associated with The Bamboo Organ and that’s why the local government created The Bamboo Organ Festival, celebrated every February.
Day 2 - Sarao Jeepney Factory
You will see several Jeepneys around the city. Take a trip to the Jeepney factory and you will be able to see where and how they are made. You can visit their assembly factory along Padre Diego Cera Avenue, Las Piñas City.
Day 3 - Las Piñas Salt Beds
Las Piñas was dubbed as the “Salt Center of Metro Manila” because of the vast salt beds along the Manila Bay and the coastal area. Although this spot was demolished due to the construction of a new road; it was restored with the help of the Las Piñas City government. Now you can visit this spot to learn and experience the traditional salt-making.
Day 4 - The Battle of Zapote Bridge
The biggest battle of the Philippine-American War was the Battle of Zapote. This took place in the year 1899 at the Zapote Bridge. The ruins of the Zapote Bridge still stand along the Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo Highway close to the Manila Bay. Just a few steps away you will find the Las Piñas Corridors; one of the city’s historical landmarks.
Day 5 - Eating Out and Bar Hopping
Just like the other places in Asia; Las Piñas has a lot of gastronomical offerings that will surely satisfy your cravings. There are lots of restaurant abound the city; the most popular spots are Ted’s La Paz Batchoy and Barrio Fiesta. When dusk falls you can hop around from one bar to the other.
Day 6 - Nature Tripping
Las Piñas has been recognized as Manila’s cleanest and greenest city. There are several beautiful places to visit in Las Piñas. Take a trip to the 4000 square meter mango orchard and tropical garden of the Las Piñas Nature Church.
Day 7 - Shopping Galore
One of the largest malls in Las Piñas is the SM Southmall. This mall covers an area of 205,120 square meters. You can find readymade and brand name clothing lines, jewelry, shoes, bags and more. Use 1 day to indulge in some serious shopping here in Las Piñas.
