April, however, is the driest month of the year; if you have a choice between traveling in March or April, choose the latter.

June through November: Rain Season

June through November (particularly September) is usually the worst time to travel. Although the average temperature remains between 26 degrees C and 28 degrees C, this period is also Cebu City’s wet season, when average rainfall in this period reaches around 1300 millimeters (51.18 inches). Rainfall is especially bad because some of the roads in Cebu City are underdeveloped and will most likely be closed off. Hotels and resorts may offer incredible deals to travel here during this time, but don’t be fooled; they only do this because they are aware of how unpleasant the weather can be. If at all possible, avoid visiting during this time.
