Located in posh Beverly Hills, Taoist Temple is a typical Chinese structure constructed in 1972 by the large Chinese community of Cebu. Elevated about 300 meters from the sea level, this temple celebrates Taoism, a religious doctrine disseminated by the proponent Lao Tze. In both the interior and exterior of the temple the influence of the Chinese architecture is prominent. The roof of the temple is built in typical Pagoda style. Every Wednesday and Sunday wears a festive look here when Taoist devotees throng to the temple to offer prayers followed by a set of rituals.
4. Kawasan Falls
Located at 130 km southwest of Cebu City the mountains of Barangay, Matutinao and Badian are blessed with 3 beautiful cascading falls popularly known as Kawasan Falls. The first waterfall is the largest and the most crowded one. Trekking for 15 minutes more will take you to the second fall and then third. The cool, refreshing water of the falls will definitely set your mood for more fun.
5. Shopping
Shopping in Cebu City is real fun as the city has plenty of shopping malls and stores all the across the city. To name a few, SM City Cebu and Ayela Mall are 2 upscale shopping malls with an array of shopping stores, restaurants, and a Cineplex to satisfy your every need.
