Eating Out in Cebu City
Edit ThisCebu city has a lot of things to offers and one of the offerings you may not want to miss is the great number of Cebu City Restaurants. One of the best tourist destinations in Southeast Asia, Cebu City has a perfect combination of rich culture, urban living and great gastronomical adventure. The Philippines’ Queen City of the South has a total of 73 restaurants offerings, ranging from local to Asian and International cuisine; name it and Cebu has it.
Neo Neo’s Grill House
Neo Neo’s Grill is the most popular restaurant in Cebu City. Neo Neo’s Grill House offers home-cooked style Filipino and Cebuano dishes. The restaurant is known for its fresh grilled seafood, Kinilaw, Grilled Tanigue, Dinuguan and more. The decor is simple but great and the prices are very affordable. If you are looking for a comfortable place to relax and enjoy a meal, Neo Neo’s is the right place.
Mamma Maria’s Pizzeria
If you are craving for Italian food with a twist Mamma Maria’s Pizzeria is the best place to go to. Even though the pizzeria does not offer authentic Italian dishes, its menu is still highly rated. The restaurant makes the biggest pizza in the Philippines--63 inches in diameter, to be exact. The restaurant offers 27 flavors of pizzas; the must try is the exotic pizza with crocodile meat. The restaurant is reasonably priced and the restaurant also has an open kitchen so you can see the baker preparing the dough for the pizzas.
Ila Puti
Ila Puti is a restaurant that is perfect for a relaxing meal with your family. The restaurant offers a wide range of mouthwatering Asian Fusion dishes that are very affordable and well presented. This is a place you can take your family out for dinner and be totally satisfied.
Carlo’s Batchoy
Carlo’s Batchoy offers rice meals, side dishes, noodles, grilled foods and, of course, Batchoy at very affordable rates. Though the place is small, more like a carinderia, it is clean and presentable. The food is great, especially the Daing na Bangus and Batchoy.
Ice Castle
The best way to end your gastronomical journey is with the Philippines’ beloved dessert, Halo-Halo. Ice Castle is a great place to take the family for some dessert. Halo-Halo is a mixture of different sweetened tropical fruits like banana, sweet potato, beans, nata de coco, ube and more. It is topped with shaved ice, Leche Flan and milk. Ice Castle‘s menu contains a lot more than just Halo-Halo. The restaurant also has burgers, fries, chips and other yummy desserts like Banana Splits, sundaes and ice cream floats.

Mr. AAs
Edit ThisCebu dining means eating at a "sugbaan", meaning "grilled". A.S. Fortuna Avenue in Cebu City is home to some of the province's best "sugbaan" and Mr. AAs is the name to beat. Part of the fun is choosing from the variety of fresh meats and seafoods available for cooking in the large grilling stations. With a plateful of "puso" the local rice, and bottles of beer, it is as good and as local as it gets.

Lighthouse
Edit ThisThis place has been around for more than two decades ,and yet when I recently visited it last February of 2005 it was still packed and still serving the same old great dishes. Must try the lechon (barbeque pork) either in whole or chop-up for two. Warning: might be grosteque to see whole pig in your table... the seafood, rice, Pinabet and Halo-Halo dessert are great too.
