Bohol is an island located in the south central Philippines, a two hour ferry journey from Cebu. It's main town, Tagbilaran has an airport.
Major attractions include some beautiful beaches, diving and snorkelling, the Chocolate Hills, manmade forest, tarsier sanctuaries, numerous 16th Century Spanish-style churches, the tranquil Loboc river and the site of a blood pact with Magellan.
