Angeles City is easily accessible by land and air. You can take a plane from any point in the Philippines to the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport (DMIA). Several airlines like Air Asia, Tiger Airways, South East Asian Airlines, and Cebu Pacific operate regular flights to Angeles City. The airport is located 5 km away from Angeles City, and you can take the bus, taxi or jeepney to get to the city. This will cost you $5 to $7. If you want to travel by land you can take the bus from Manila to Angeles. You can either ride an ordinary or air-conditioned bus. This journey will last for 1 1/2 hour to 2 hours.

There are lots of things to see and do around Angeles City. Trekking at Mt Pinatubo is one of the most popular activities. Other must-try activities are go-kart racing, aerial tours, parachuting, skydiving, golf and bowling.

Angeles City is known as the culinary center of the Philippines because of its diverse cuisine. If you are on a budget and are looking for cheap yet delicious foods, you can try the small eateries in the streets of Angeles City, which offer Kapampangan delicacies for as low as $1.25 per serving.
