Papua New Guinea National Museum
Papua New Guinea National Museum is a war museum dedicated to
preserving and protecting the cultural and national heritage. It has
several display areas divided into areas outside, inside and a back
room for storage. It was formed in 1978 with a collection that was at
one time part of the Territory War Memorial Trust and other private
collections. It is also involved in the recovery of human remains and
putting forth efforts to restore the aircraft collection. The
indoor section is home to photos and wartime artifacts and is displayed
for your enjoyment and education of the local history. The outdoor section
houses a vehicle collection of jeeps, tanks and trucks. It also has an
incomplete aircraft collection. Several items are not displayed due to
restoration efforts.

The Australian Museum is and organization that works with the media to promote events, scientific research and Australian Museum exhibitions. There are many different departments within the museum, such as a department that supports research and forms fellowships. Another department is a world leader and supplier in research for coral reef research and education. There's also a section housed for animals and education on their types. There are many minerals and fossils to observe and learn about, along with information on Australia’s culture. There is a lot of research completed, supported and funded along with many educational benefits to Australia’s missions of preserving marine and mammal life. There are events that visitors can get involved in, along with educational activities including hands-on learning for children of a variety of ages.
