Brown River
Perhaps no other region in Papua New Guinea is as beautiful as the Brown River. It is easily accessible by Port Moresby. It is an expanse which has an open coastline, great beaches islands and jagged mountain ranges. The 1000-mile long Sepik River is a brown river of oil which has water winding in a serpentine form throughout the whole region.
Madang

It is also famous for its volcanoes.
Rabaul
Rabaul has a large, nearly-perfect circular harbor called Simpson Harbor. It is considered to be one of the best in the South Pacific area. The Japanese had invaded this area in 1942 during Word War II to make use of the harbor. Diving and swimming are common pastimes here. Rafting and canoeing are also very popular.
