The Ocean Pearl Inn Hotel on Botataung Pagoda Rd. is not the most centrally located hotel in Yangon but it is within walking distance of the Sule Paya and provides good value for the money (10 USD for single and 15 for double, breakfast included). The members of the friendly reception staff speaks english very well and can help you with your travel arrangements around and out of Yangon. Stayed there in June 2007.
