U Bein's bridge

This is an old teak bridge connecting the monastery with the Kyauktawgyi Paya crossing Taungthaman lake. It's a nice and peaceful place. Take bus nr. 8 from Mandalay (corner 84th and 29th street) and ask the driver to stop at the bridge.
