A great place to get a traditional-style Burmese meal.  I highly recommend ordering any of the curries-chicken or mutton or whatever, and the green tomato salad, leave the rest to them.  They will bring you side dishes of all sorts, balachaung, pickled bamboo shoots, soup, fruit and jaggery to eat with your rice.  They will also continuously refill your plates until you are stuffed and the meal will cost only a couple dollars.

One of my most favorite places to eat in Kalaw it is across from the market on the main "superhighway" that passes by Kalaw.
