YKKO Noodle Garden

This is a great place to get a bowl of noodles Che Oo.  There is also a shop in downtown Yangon, but unfortunately I am not sure of the address.  These noodles are quite popular among the local population.

The main choices are noodle soup and fried noodles.  The noodles can be had with chicken or with pork.  Order Che oo si kyet for fried noodles.

The restaurant has long tables in a garden with pixie lights all around.  There is an area upstairs as well.  Generally the waiters don't speak much English.  The food is clean as it is served very hot.  There is also available BBQ chicken and pork.

Very good food and good prices.

Just down the road is Mr. Guitar which has live music.  The prices there are more geared towards foreigners so buy your beer at YKKO before heading over to Mr. Guitar.
