The Green Elephant in Yangon, Mandalay

These restaurants run by a lady from Rakhine State offer excellent Bamar food under exceptional ambience in Yangon and Mandalay. A short taxi ride away in Yangon and a short walk from Sedona Hotel in Mandalay, each time I was impressed with the quality of the food and the good service. Beer is the only drink, with a viniculture just in its infancy. I recommend this place and it is rather romantic place for an intimte dinner. You may see a lot of foreigners especially in groups but dont let that take the charm of the place away.
