7 Day Itinerary in Melaka
Edit ThisDay 1 - Melaka Sultanate Palace Museum
Melaka has several historical places you can visit, but the Melaka Sultanate Palace Museum is the most important of all. It is an exact replica of the Malay Annals Sultanate Palace and it is made of wood. The palace is located at the foot of St. Paul’s Hill.
Day 2 - Melaka Day and Night Zoo
The largest zoo in Malaysia, the Melaka Zoo offers different activities for their day and night visitors. During the day you can visit their open air zoo that features 200 species of rare animals like the Malayan sun bears, tigers, Sumatran rhinoceros and more. If you choose to visit the zoo at night, you can take the tram ride and you can see nocturnal animals and African wildlife scenario.
Day 3 - Gastronomic Adventure
Melaka’s cuisine is one of Southeast Asia’s best. Melaka is famous for its spicy baba and nyonya cooking style. Some of the most popular dishes are the foods cooked in rich coconut milk, fresh seafood, satays and more. There are several fine restaurants in Melaka where you can enjoy Melaka’s unique cuisine.
Day 4 - A’Famosa Water World
A’Famosa Water World is the largest resort and the most modernized hot spot in Melaka. It houses a water-based theme park, safari world, horse riding, golf resort, cowboy town, children’s theme park and micro-light flying club. You will need to spend the whole day here to enjoy all the attraction of the resort.
Day 5 - Tropical Fruit World
D-Paradise Tropical Fruit World and Aboriginal Native Village has the world’s largest collection of tropical, continental and sub-tropical fruits. It covers 168 acres of well maintained garden and houses a unique aboriginal native village. Take a trip to this village and enjoy the day trips offered at the village.
Day 6 - Tanjung Bidara Beach
If you are looking for great beaches, look no farther because Melaka has it all. Popular beaches here are Tanjung Bidara Beach and Pengkalan Balak Beach, both of which offer great amenities, picnic grounds, surau and great scenic views.
Day 7 - Shopping
Jonker Walk is a huge street
that has a great number of stores that offer ready-made clothing, jewelry,
antiques, glassware, fiber, food and more.
This is Melaka’s best shopping paradise where you can find great
bargains and interesting items.
