Visit Beaches
Pantai Cenang B each has a 2-mile stretch of sand with lush scenery and tall palm trees. There are lots of resorts here. You can also see the marine life in the Underwater World Langkawi. The Pantai Tengah Beach is a relatively quiet beach where you can rent a boat or canoe. The Pantai Kok Beach has caves situated amongst limestone hills. There is also the Tanjung Rhu Beach which is famous for the Casuarina trees. When there is a low tide, you can walk across to Pulau Pasir and Pulau Gasing islands.
Explore Waterfalls
Langkwai has a few waterfalls that are full of cascading water in the rainy season which takes place near the end of the year. There are the Telaga Tujuh waterfalls, also known as the Seven Wells that have 7-interconnected pools. The source of water in these pools is Mount Mat Cincang from where the water cascades downward. You can spot macaque monkeys and squirrels while making the climb to the top of the hills. The Air Terjun Temurin waterfalls are located in the Mat Cincang Nature Park of Datai. The water flows down 30 meters into a pool. You can swim in the bottom of the waterfall. The Durian Perangin Falls flow down the hills of Mount Raya and are surrounded by rock formations. Rich flora is also found here. Nearby are the hot springs in Kampung Ayer Hangat.
