Wild Langkawi was founded in 1994 by the region's premier naturalist to make the diversity of this region available visitors.

In addition to tourism Wild Langkawi offers consultancy services to government, NGO's and the tourism industry and are active in lobbying for ecological causes. The company is active in research and clients may extend their visits to participate in research projects.
