Edit This

A Langkwai Itinerary is great for tourists who have a week to spend, as there are many things to do amongst the islands of Langkwai and your week is going to fly by.  Here is the best way to spend your week.

Day 1: Relax

Lay back, relax, and enjoy the beautiful beaches. The main reason most tourists go to Langkwai is to see their world renowned beaches. For a real relaxing treat try Pantai Tengah beach. Separated from the popular Cenang beach by a small cape, Pantai Tengah offers visitors a tranquil experience, while still located within walking distance to restaurants, bars and shops.

Day 2: Pulau Payar Marine Park Excursion

After a nice day or relaxing, day 2 will crank up the excitement. Pulau Payar Marine Park offers the best view of marine life in all of Malaysia. The day will offer snorkeling, beach time, and swimming in crystal clear water. This excursion includes transportation, equipment, simple lunch and water. This tour takes approximately 7 hours.

Day 3: Stardust Adventure Day Cruise

Day three will be spent on a classic wooden sail board, exploring many of the small islands, islets and bays. See all that the ecosystem has to offer, including exploring the caving system, sting ray feeding, and swimming with dolphins. This tour includes transfers, 12 course buffet lunch, and open bar.

Day 4: Caves and Mangroves

The fourth day will be spent exploring the inner island ecosystem. A day away from the beaches, this tour will take you around Kilim Nature Park. Kilim offers stunning mangrove forests, hidden blue lagoons and plenty of flora and fauna, which your tour guide can explain in detail. Schedule about 5 hours for this tour.

Day 5: Island Hopping

Take a day to explore the many islands in the area. Traveling by boat you will see many different islands, islets, lagoons, rainforests, eagle feedings, and more. Mid day you will find yourself at an animal sanctuary, offering home to many indigenous animals, some of whom have been rescued and relocated to the sanctuary.

Day 6: Langkwai Island Discovery Package A

The sixth day of your tour will offer you a glimpse into the rich tapestry of traditions and customs. The first stop will be at Atma Alam Batik Art Village and will provide you opportunity to purchase souvenirs made from a painting and dying technique typical to the area. Next is Eagle Square, a 19 acre landmark featuring a large bronze eagle statue. Next on the list is Mahsuri's Tomb, where local legend has it that after Mahsuri was conemed to death for adultery she took her own life and laid a curse upon the island. The last stop on the tour is shopping in Kuah Town and then to the Underwater World, the largest fresh water aquarium in Malaysia featuring a 15 meter long underwater viewing tunnel.

Day 7: Sunset Dinner Cruise

With the morning free to do any remaining shopping or beach laying, the night will take you on a beautiful sunset dinner cruise. The cruise will feature meal and drinks (both alcoholic and non alcoholic). After dinner enjoy a soak in the saltwater jacuzzi to finish off a busy week.
