Getting There
Edit ThisGetting to Kuala Lumpur is no problem as over 40 international airlines, including Malaysia Airlines, serve the city's new Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at Sepang. Domestic routes are served by Singpore Airlines, Air Asia, Pelangi Airand Royal Brunei Airlines, in addition to Malaysia Airlines. Flight time from Europe is 12-13 hours. From Tokyo about 7-8hrs. From Bangkok about 2 hrs.
KLIA is a very modern, spacious airport about 70 Km south of Kuala Lumpur. The easiest way to get to the city is by taking the KLIA Express, a high speed train which takes you the KL Central in 28 minutes and from there you are just a few minutes from the city center, either by taxi, train or the monorail (this one specifically for the Golden Triangle and shopping complex)
