Sultan Abu Bakar Royal Museum

A visit to the Sultan Abu Bakar Royal Museum will bring you face to face with the history and legacy of the Johor Sultanate. Several of the items on display are from the 19th century; exhibits include the first postal stamp issued in Johor, gold coins, antique furniture, Chinese pottery and many other interesting objects. The museum is open Saturday to Thursday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Johor Old Chinese Temple

Located right between skyscrapers, the Johor Old Chinese Temple is one of the oldest buildings in Johor Bahru. The temple was constructed towards the 19th century; it was renovated during 1995 and 1996. The temple is a holy place for the Chinese and is a popular tourist spot.
Endau-Rompin National Park

The beautiful Endau-Rompin National Park is a 488 square kilometers rainforest. This is the oldest tropical in the whole world. The park features various outdoor activities such as camping, trekking, fishing, fishing, etc. The park is open Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Mount Ophir

Mount Ophir is a rocky mountain forest reserve. There are clearly marked trails that lead to the summit which is 1276 meters high. There is a resort that provides chalets which you can hire if you would like to spend a few days in this beautiful mountain forest reserve. The Reserve is open and accessible Monday to Sunday 24 hours.
Istana Garden

The Istana Garden is located within the grounds of the Grand Palace. The garden is well maintained and offers excellent views that are second to none. The garden is also a perfect place for a stroll in the afternoon. The garden is open Monday to Sunday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
