Kek Lok Tong

Kek Lok Tong (Cave of Great Happiness) is in the same vicinity as Sam Poh Tong, but is much younger, being built in the 1970s. It replicates more or less the same features as Sam Poh Tong, with cave statues, lotus ponds and a vegetarian restaurant. Because it is accessible through the Gunung Rapat housing area, it has a cleaner, quieter and more cooling environment, which may suit some rather than the more popular Sam Poh Tong caves. Locals say it has the better scenic cave view.
