Flights into Malaysia

As flights from Europe and the US directly into KL are often more expensive you can also try to get a flight into Bangkok in Thailand. From there it's a short flight into Malaysia (mostly the cheapest fares: AirAsia, but also Thai Airways and Malaysia Airlines (MAS) ply the route into Langkawi, Penang or KL.)

You can also fly from Bangkok into Hat Yai in Southern Thailand (e.g. Air Asia, Thai Airways). From there it's only an one hour drive by bus into Malaysia.
