Getting There
Edit This
Well, if you are from anywhere of the world, getting there by air is obviously the easiest and most practical. The Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is about 30 minutes away from the heart of the urban city by ERL train. If you're travelling from Europe, some flights even stopped by at the Langkawi International Airport, a well preserved tropical island most visited by tourist for oriental holiday.
Flights into Malaysia
Edit ThisAs flights from Europe and the US directly into KL are often more expensive you can also try to get a flight into Bangkok in Thailand. From there it's a short flight into Malaysia (mostly the cheapest fares: AirAsia, but also Thai Airways and MAS ply the route into Langkawi, Penang or KL.)
You can also fly from Bangkok into Hat Yai in Southern Thailand (e.g. Air Asia, Thai Airways). From there it's only an one hour drive by bus into Malaysia.
